HG.Wells

I designed these book covers for a well known designer HG.Wells, wasn't the most pleasant brief to do I had soo many ideas that no-one nor myself were really 100% happy with, but i finally cracked it and had a good tutorial for my final ideas. I am now happy with how my finals have turned out!

Packaging

Below is a sneek preview of some of the packaging, the picture isn't the best but I sure will h ave that sorted for hand-in stage.
I have designed packaging for Detox Tea, I enjoyed this brief alot, from development stage to final printing.

Letterpressing

I am currently working on a brief for Body Shop, I am required to create an unconventional brand campaign for The Body Shop to reinstate its position as the original pioneer of ethical beauty.So I finally got down to Caldewgate today to get some letterpressing done, I hopping my days events will come in handy for this project.

Much fun was had with this project as its colourful and vibrant also it was the 1st project that got me back into the swing of things after the accident with my hand!

So I am finally getting round to starting my Final Majors Projects, n what best way too start it with somthing I love soo much! TEA! :) at the moment I am just researching and coming across some amazing stuff!

DISSERTATION

Yes it is over!

Handed my dissertation in today with 2 days to spare!

Such a great feeling! Hope the results are good :)

What has being going on these past months!

Hi all! the last time i wrote on this was before christmas just as I was handing my work in! Well what a drama is the least to say! that tuesday we all got our gladrags on and went out to celebrate the festive season starting, It was great and such a relief to be finished for the holidays! We had this horrible icey cold snowy weather & I slid on a pavement and my right hand went down on a glass! Yea it was pretty nasty i tore the majority of the ligaments and tendants in my right hand, now for a designer you can imagine this is pretty awful and traumatic! I am on the mend tho, and celebrating today finally having my cast off! :) and hopefully my hand will get better in no time :) I am keeping positive about the whole situation as i feel its the best way to be in life!

over christmas all my projects and dissertation were on hold... so now that I am on the mend i am working mega hard to catch up with everyone! My wee left hand has being doing overtime these past few weeks! But I know it will all be worth it :)

above is a present Darren gave me when I was going to the hospital! It makes me laugh & Its also a memory that I think I'l keep forever!








Can't beleive the nurse actually gave the nurse a cast to match mine :D

Holidays Are Coming :)

Holidays are indeed coming, and I cant wait to be back home in Glasgow :) Christmas is such an amazing and happy time, I miss Darren <3 family & friends dearly this year, This is our final year and it has being mega hectic! I promised myself back in Oct I was going to keep up to date with blogging but it just hasn't happened! :/ I have uploaded a few projects that I have been working on this year, I am having some difficulties getting everything on! I have currently been working on my website, it is a project that I completed last year but its just one of those things that I have never been happy with to put online, need it to be just PERFECT :) hopefully that should be coming soon too along with all the other masshoosive amount of work we have! Dissertation just isn't cool over the Christmas Holidays! boo!

I absolutly love the coca cola advert its one of those things when u see it u just know its Christmas Time!
