Ok so this is my final poster for the Knititing and Stitching Show, this project was quite a tricky one for me at the start as i had such a diffrent idea on what i wanted to do with the project, beleive or not i travelled back home to glasgow and sat for hours on end on my grannys sewing machine trying to work out how to sew!! well i'l tell you now it wasn't for me! There was alot of experimental work envolved in this project which i enjoyed very much! In the end i decided to go with a clean modern, simpler idea, as the whole point in this breief was to advertise to different audience, i choose to attract a younger fashionable audience! hense the reason for choosing the vibrant bright pink. When i was first given this project i nearly died, i thought i will never be able to acheive a good enough idea that would be exepted, but at the crit they wer happy with what i had came up with!! So thats a good thing surely!!! :]

As part of this project I was asked to design a direct mail to promote the event, as this was for a kniting and stitching show to promote to a different target audience than your average old age pensioner i wanted to keep it simple and modern and somthing that gives u the relevant information you need to know about the event. I am quite happy with my finished work, i passed this project which makes me very happy!! :)

First, it’s worth noting that Typography is not just about choosing a font, or even distinguishing one typeface from another. In recent experiments, trained Monkeys were able to correctly identify Helvetica 90% of the time.
Ok so this is my second brief at uni, I was given a Plant Hire which i had to design a logo/logotype for on the personality of Kate Moss. Yes I know, i thought it was quite a strange one, n felt it was a bit of a challange. Below is some peices of my finished design :)
